Available Positions:

    Sales Manager

This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated, customer-oriented individual.  We offer a highly competitive salary and benefits package.

Major Responsibilities include:

  • Grow and manage existing customer base; maintain productive relationships with the company’s customers on all levels – orders, quality, and delivery.
  • Follow market developments; develop new and existing product lines and other revenue enhancing initiatives.
  • Identify new business opportunities, customers, markets and potential products
  • Help establish short and long-term strategies to attain sales goals and profitability and execute on those initiatives
  • Analyze industry trends to determine appropriate responses in terms of pricing, inventory and consumption.
  • Travel to customer’s offices, sites, and to industry events (20%)

 Qualified individuals will possess:

  • A degree in marketing or business studies is preferred; or a minimum of seven years of related experience or training; or the equivalent combination of formal education and experience.
  • Problem-solving and analytic skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information.
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required.

  Supply Chain Manager

Lead procurement, logistics and customer service functions in developing optimization strategies for customer service and $65,000,000 in annual spend.  Provide the support, innovation, policies, process, education and tools necessary to implement and manage those strategies.

 Primary Responsibilities:

  •  Develop supply chain cost reduction strategies and initiatives
  • Negotiate strategic, leveraged and critical supply prices, terms and conditions for materials, supplies and services
  • Supervise procurement, logistics and customer service associates
  • Gatekeeper for all purchases according to Procurement Policy; ensures all purchases stay within budgetary guidelines
  • Maintain a high level of market intelligence and respond to market opportunities and risks
  • Manage key supplier relationships and alliances
  • Source and evaluate new and alternative materials, suppliers and services
  • Administer contracts and supplier contracting
  • Manage wastepaper and finished goods inventory
  • Establish and regulate procurement policies and procedures
  • Manage warehousing and transportation functions and contracting
  • Customer service management
  • Drive process improvement for purchasing, traffic and customer service areas
  • Develop metrics to measure supply chain efficiency
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership

Position Requirements:

  •  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related to supply chain or operations management; or business, economics, accounting or other related field of study
  • Minimum 5 years of supply chain/purchasing management experience
  • Certification in APICS, CSCP, CPIM or related certification preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage supply chain to customer requirements
  • Effective process improvement skills
  • Proven contract management skills
  • Strong project management, risk management, and negotiation skills
  • Effective in developing and maintaining relationships/alliances
  • Highest level of ethical principles and standards
  • Strong problem solving and decision making skills

       Manufacturing Technicians/Operators

Our self-managed work teams are responsible for:

  • Working at the highest level of safety and quality standards at all times.
  • Being an Owner-Operator-Maintainer-Improver of all equipment.
  • Operating machines at centerline conditions, standard speeds, etc. to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Executing asset strategies and contributing to their continuous development and improvement
  • Maintaining the integrity of all assets and operating equipment to ensure on-going safe, reliable operations.
  • Maintaining clean to inspect standards, ensuring periodic cleaning of assets and other areas.
  • Initiating, completing and/or assisting with equipment maintenance and repair as needed.
  • Taking an active role in learning the equipment, processes, systems, and technology.
  • Actively train/mentor other team members to foster their development and FRF’s Associate Principles, as well as drive continuous improvement in asset.
  • Optimizing machine performance including timely process adjustments, process monitoring, etc.
  • Perform continuous improvement activities and/or troubleshooting to improve operations.

This position will work rotating shifts on one of our self-managed production teams.   Our highly automated de-inking process is run with state-of-the-art equipment and our manufacturing technician positions would be a great opportunity for a highly motivated, technically inclined individual.  We offer a highly competitive salary and benefits program along with the opportunity to work in a progressive, safety conscious work environment.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Associates Degree in a technical field – Electro/Mechanical degree or similar – or advanced training plus experience preferred but not required
  • Strong commitment to working safely and for the safety of others

  • Ability to coordinate team based improvements
  • Prior manufacturing experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to contribute individually and in a team environment
  • Strong Microsoft Office computer skills
